Wow.
I just discovered the difference between an OK waxer and a wonderful waxer.

She took 15 minutes to do my eyebrows tonight, making them freaking perfect. Goodbye Fil, I guess you won't be making me fil beautiful anytime soon. *tear*
In other, unrelated news, apparently my driving is progressing wonderfully. I'd love to be zip zipping around by the end of January. So that is my goal. Yes. Yes it is.

Big Day Out is so crap this year.
At least the Australian bands are awesome. Plus The Donnas, Le Tigre and Polyphonic Spree are on it too. So I guess that makes it worth going?!

Hi,
I'm part of an Australian band called Retarded Spelling Sucks. We're huge Le Tigre fans, and are simply ecstatic about their first tour to Australia. We haven't been together very long, but we had a lot of material written - some of it is definitely inspired by the band.
We know it's a long shot, and you're probably going to click that little "junk" button on the top of your email client any minute now, but we'd like to ask to be one of Le Tigre's support acts on their upcoming Australian tour.
It really would mean the world to us if we could support such a fantastic, lovely band in our home town of Melbourne. You could put us on early so there wouldn't be many people to drive away if you thought we sucked. We can't afford a demo, so we can't send it over - but just think, if you gave us a chance, you could be playing a part in the next punk rock fairytale (insert corny music here).
We're a bit different, want to have fun, and bring more females to the rock scene. Please let us know, either way. It'll only take you less than 15 seconds to write "yeah right, dream on!" or "hell yeah, bring it on!" (we timed it).

I think I'm going to apply for a community radio station spot. Hopefully with Hannah. They run for 8 weeks, and it could be fun. Also, it'd give me something to do.
Don't really wanna do it alone, cuz I'd sound like a dick..and apparently Hannah and I are really funny together (not separately, obviously).

So yeah, I'm planning ahead now, but I'm starting a budget now. In 2006, I'm taking a trip. For about 6-8 months. I'm leaving in April, and heading to the US for a week or two, then to Europe, then back to the US in about August (after I turn 21).
It may or may not be with Hannah. So if anyone residing in either continent that would have a spare couch or corner of floor for me and maybe Hannah to park it on, please let me know, cuz I'd love to leave a mark on your life. Or something.
Also, if there's a willing partner, I'd like to get married in Vegas (come on, get me a US green card through a shammish marriage :p). Interviews start next week.
And this is all completely serious. I'll even get a job to fund this! *gasp*

For, like the zillionth time in my life, my computer's contracted sars or anthrax or something.
It's started deleting my music files, it disabled my virus scanners, and now it's done something to one of the 4 email accounts I use on my computer.
I'm running Panda ActiveScan and it's about halfway through, I think, and it's found 60 infected files (mainly email that Thunderbird disables), but one file couldn't be disinfected.
Does anyone know what it could be and how to get rid of it?
Please help..and you can have a real cookie. Or something.

Can't stop listening to "Lifted or The Story is in the soil,Keep your Ear to the ground" by "Bright Eyes".His word-play is astounding and I find myself hunkered over my stereo sometimes playing "Lover I Don't Have to Love" over and over and over again, wondering how on earth did he ever manage to come up with a song that's so utterly perfect.
